The Board
A minimal space for visual inspiration.
Intro
I tried all the usual tools. Pinterest, Cosmos, Are.na, even messy Figma files. They all kind of worked, but never quite the way I wanted. There was always too much friction and too much noise around the actual thing I cared about, which is just collecting and looking at visuals.
So in a weekend I started building my own.
What it is
The Board is my take on an inspiration tool. No feeds, no algorithms, no distractions. Just a clean space where you can drop images, tag them if you want, and come back later to make sense of it all.
It’s built around how I actually work. Quick collecting first, organizing later. You paste an image, maybe add a label, and keep moving. Everything lives in a simple grid, you can filter, search etc.
In the local version I managed to have image compression by default when you paste an image, so you dont end up tons of images that are too heavy.
