GPX Lab
A personal app for managing GPX files.
Overview
GPX Lab is my way of organising and comparing GPX routes. I often look at different editions of the same race to understand what changed. I want to see which trails stayed, which sections moved, and where the routes overlap.
I had been using gpx.studio for this, but I wanted a better way to manage the files inside the app. Once you collect enough routes, finding the right one and keeping different versions organised becomes part of the problem.
I forked the gpx.studio repository and started building my own version on top of it. Not every feature from gpx.studio works in GPX Lab. I kept the basics I use most and made those work.
That is also what personal software means to me in the AI era. I started with a tool I already used and changed it to fit the way I work.
