On building

I'm less and less interested in titles. It all feels a bit blurry anyway. I'm more interested in building things, making stuff as good as I can, solving real problems for real people, and just keep learning.

I’ve always been drawn to learning by doing. Side projects, e.g. making a poster every day for a while, trying creative coding, just following curiosity. But some ideas stopped short. I could imagine them, but I didn’t have the ability to fully bring them to life.

Now with AI that gap is getting smaller. I can go from an idea to something real, test it, break it, fix it, and keep going. The craft doesn't stop at how something looks anymore, it shows up in how things behave and actually work.

I still hit walls all the time and I don't always know what I'm doing, but that loop of trying, learning, and trying again is the whole point.

At some point building stopped being the outcome and just became how I think.
